Interior Design
As an interior designer for the Hinshaw Hideaway project, my role was to direct the complete interior transformation and spatial strategy of this historic 1934 Palm Springs estate. I managed every phase of the creative and technical process—from initial spatial planning and architectural finish selection to vendor coordination, custom millwork design, and full FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) procurement. My primary focus was honoring the property's rich mid-century heritage while modernizing its function to elevate it into a luxurious, cohesive residential retreat.

What I Do
Hinshaw Hideaway
We reconfigured the home's primary living zones to maximize indoor-outdoor flow, integrating restored architectural elements—like original wood paneling and stained-glass accents—with sleek, contemporary finishes. In the main entertaining spaces, we installed a wet bar featuring a live-edge wooden counter and specified a chef’s kitchen anchored by luxurious marble slab countertops and professional-grade appliances. For the private quarters, we transformed the primary suite into a mid-century sanctuary, complete with a full-height marble bath suite and a freestanding soaker tub. Finally, we curated and procured all interior furnishings, sourcing iconic design pieces—such as a 50th Anniversary Eames Lounge Chair—alongside custom leather seating, artisanal lighting, and vintage textiles.
