Brand CreationI wanted to start my own pet food company, so I began the process. I got my business license, seller's permit, feed license, pet food license, trademark, wrote the patent, started formulating recipes, and got this off the ground. From there I designing the packaging, the logo, collateral, creating a e-commerce website, established my Amazon Store, and more. I now have a full fledge brand selling on Walmart!
Brand StrategyTrueSons approached me to help lead their digital design strategy. The brand was looking to grown their user base so we redesigned their Amazon Store, social media accounts, social ads, business collateral, email blasts, wipes, cans, packaging, and more.
Website DesignWhen a good friend wanted to rebrand his Periodontal practice he turned to me to help him plan and create the new identity. We started with the logo, branding, identity, and collateral, and then finished up with an amazing website. The website's success is highly due to the art direction and images we were able to capture during their photoshoot. It really captures the office's personality and gives a friendly warm fun feeling to a not so loved field. I also help to manage their social media, adwords campaigns, and have been able to increase the traffic of the site by over 500%. It has been a really fun project to create giveaway bags, referral cards, and other fun items I usually don't get to work on.
HLB Lighting Design
Website DesignWhen the country's largest architectural lighting design firm needed a new website, I was excited to be able to feature the gorgeous art they create. My focus was to have the site be photo heavy, easy to navigate, and immersive. I want the user to get lost in the 170+ project portfolio, and easily be able to gather any data/stats on the project, but not take away from the work itself. They portfolio features billions of dollars in assets and I'm beyond proud of how it all came together. As are they.. stay tuned for the website awards they're applying for this year!
Website + CollateralOday is an amazing designer that I'm lucky enough to work with. His exquisite taste, gorgeous finishes, and luxury details make his garments stand out like no others. I create all of Oday's Fashion week invites, look books, price sheets, run of show, and any other collateral/marketing needs he may need.
Creative DirectorI've worked at VMBC for over 5 years and led the design of everything we've done in that time frame. No internal or external assets can go public without my team's approval. This includes a full rebrand of the company, eLearning modules, app design, collateral, etc. It's been quite the ride and I love vmbc, but I'm on the hunt for my next challenge.
App DesignAMC Theatres approached VMBC in 2011 about designing and releasing an app. Since partnering together I've been the Creative UX Lead designing both the tablet and mobile experiences. I managed a team that designed and built a custom ticketing platform from scratch - removing Fandango and keeping the customer experience AMC Theatres specific. The app is now fully integrated as one user experience and we continue to improve the functionality of the app. We've included a mobile wallet, RunPee, passbook support for tickets, and gesture based controls. We celebrated our 3 year #appiversary this year and had huge success with a multi channel marketing campaign. You can watch a recap video I storyboarded, wrote the script for, and ended up being in.
Branding + CollateralMarconi Law approached me with the need for a brand refresh - one of my favorite things to do. The client wanted a mark that could be replicated into a pattern, a color family with an Italian nod, and a modern luxurious feeling overall. We achieved this by sticking to modern typography, earthy tones, and introducing a metallic gold. The business cards are the nicest I've ever created. They're hand made letterpresses with a gold foil overlay. The coordinating letterhead and envelopes cohesively tie the story together, as well as the online digital presence. Since the letterpress cards are so thick, expensive, and somewhat cumbersome, we also printed an offset version to be handed out at larger events.
Website + App DesignSafelink Wireless has worked with vmbc for over 7 years, and I've led the design of the website and street team app for them. This includes wire framing, design of mobile and desktop web UX, analytical A/B testing, and app design for over 6,000 agents.
Furniture DesignWhy buy a bed when I can design and have one built? Being a country kid I wanted reclaimed barn wood integrated into a modern industrial feel. Top that with a pantone paint chip wall of a pixelated sunset and BAM! Need a pergola in your yard? Cake. Why are these projects on here? To show you how I'm creative in all aspects of my life. My imagination and creativity are constantly on and I love it.
Mobile Strategyvmbc has worked with Payless for over 7 years structuring and creating their mobile strategy. This includes app design and development, SMS database building, mobile websites and WAPs. I've had the pleasure of leading the creative direction of all these channels.
Anna’s LinensAnna's Linens came to vmbc when they wanted to create a text message database as part of their overall mobile strategy. I led the design of web, mobile, email, and the in-store experiences to launch their new SMS database. Opt-in rates beat all benchmarks and expectations thanks to the channel wide marketing strategy.
Mobile Web DesignFootlocker Inc. approached vmbc to design mobile WAPs for their customers to sign up for their VIP loyalty program. This included a site for each of their brands - Footlocker, Lady Footlocker, Kid's Footlocker, Champs Sports, and Footaction.
Reynolds Design Group
Website DevelopmentAs one of the top strategic marketing companies in the US, RDG needed a website that reflected the value their work brings to top brands like Apple, Adidas, Coca-Cola, and Which Wich. The site features a gorgeous gallery of case studies so brands can learn the value how strategic marketing.
Website DesignDigital Campfire Studios is one of the premier leading social media agencies in Los Angeles. They work heavily with top entertainment studios leveraging social media for top shows like American Horror Story and Scream Queens. Their website showcases their latest work and is a place for other networks to learn about their services.
On CameraHaving storyboarded, designed, and scripted many eLearning videos sometimes you end up on camera. Here's a blooper of the fun.
Booths/Promo ItemsI've designed many booths and promotional items for trade shows including GRMA, CRMC, and AMC Theatres Leadership Conference. I've been able to create cheeky fun things that make people remember our brand - like selfie 'sticks' and bottled unicorn tears.
eLearning CoursesSafeLink Wireless employs over 6,000 street team agents to network their services. Ensuring that all agents are up to date on policies, trainings, and customer experience techniques it's imperative that they're routinely trained and quizzed on materials. For four years I'v helped to design the user experience of these courses and trainings.
Argentina Office Buildout
Interior DesignOur Buenos Aires Argentina office has been growing so quickly we needed to expand. We found an old Pfizer building that had sat for years and decided to completely remodel it from the ground up. I led the redesign from the US, often traveling to Argentina to work with contractors, architects, and crews to get the buildout done. I delivered the project on time, scope, and budget.
Website DevelopmentStorm Studios approached me to build out their new website. They are a multi-faceted Entertainment Marketing Agency based in Los Angeles CA, that specializes in original creative development and music/EFX-driven editorial for the ever evolving worlds of entertainment and advertising. Since their work is showcased on primetime national TV it was very important to let it speak for itself. The site is a very graphic/motion heavy experience that continues to deliver for Storm.
US Office Buildout
Interior DesignA year and half into my job at vmbc we decided to move into a larger office space which allowed me the opportunity to design and build out an amazing office. Working with architects, contractors, and vendors I built out a custom office that everyone is thrilled to come into on a daily basis. The office is very google esqe in design - it's a fun, hip, and stylish place to be and inspiring place to work at.
Corporate BrandingLemonade Mobile is a subsidiary of Beyond Blue Holdings, the parent company I work for. Lemonade focuses on using in app analytics to improve the user experience. Using real time data we can segment out users and deliver specifically tailored messages they're looking for. I am responsible for leading the logo design, branding of all collateral, website, brochures, promo items, etc. I designed a booth and tradeshow experience around lemonade as well - where we had actual lemonade bottles to hand out.
Website DesignCollective Conscience approached me after their LGBT social impact videos around voting were going viral - garnering millions of views and hits in days. They quickly needed a site that told their story and captured their audience. I worked closely with their CEO to get a site up that was informative, engaging, and explained their platform - to make a social impact on the world. Their YouTube channel now has over 5.5 million views and the site continues to receive thousands of visitors weekly.
